What is the Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA)?
A national organization of local chapters that provide after school programs for young people.

When was it Founded?
In its present form 1990, but its origins can be traced as far back as 1860, and more formally to 1956 when it was founded by 31st President, Herbert Hoover.

What is its mission?
Enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens by providing: Safer Childhoods, Life-Enhancing Programs, and Caring Mentors.

How many Boys and Girls Clubs of America are there?
As of today, there are some 4,300 chapters, serving nearly 4 million children.

Impact of The Boys and Girls Club of Palm Beach County:

Coming up in 2020…
The World Championship Equestrian Triathlon is a family-friendly event that delivers thrilling equestrian competition as top polo, hunter jumper and dressage athletes come together on one showground followed by musical entertainment by HyRyze!

The competition begins as three teams made up of one polo player, one hunter jumper and one dressage rider make their way on to the grounds. The twist… athletes do not compete in their own sports. Participants include Heather Caristo- Williams, Olexa Celine, Josh Cohen, Megan Davis, Annabelle Garrett, Juan Matute-Guimon, Lindsey Kellock, Christoph Koschel, Chris Von Martels, Brandon Phillips, Facundo Pieres, Gonzalito Pieres, PJ Rizvi, Nic Roldan, Catie Staszak, and Lerin Zubiaurre, Capt. Brian Cournane, Brian Moggre, McLain Ward, Ellesse Jordan Gundersen & Nacho Figueras.
